Android Design Support Library 소개

2015년 5월 29일(한국시간)으로 Google I/O 2015행사에서 Android Android Design Support Library를 발표하였습니다.

구글도 주먹구구식 다양한 UI를 통합해야 하는걸 느꼈는지 머터리얼 UI이후 아예 디자인 라이브러리까지 배포하게 되었습니다.

글을 작성하는 2015년 8월 11일 기준으로는 22.2.1버전까지 배포가 되었습니다.

에 보면 

Changes for Design Support library:

• Added the hide() and show() methods to the FloatingActionButton class for programmatic triggering of animations.
• Added the LENGTH_INDEFINITE constant to the Snackbar class for showing a snackbar until it is dismissed or another snackbar is shown. Also, added the setActionTextColor(int) andsetActionTextColor(ColorStateList) methods.
• Added the getSelectedTabPosition() method to the TabLayout class for retrieving the currently selected tab.
• Provided a fully fluent API for the NotificationCompat.MediaStyle class for method chaining.
• Added convenience methods to the RecyclerView for batch insertion of items.

등 버그 수정 및 기능 추가사항들을 볼 수 있습니다. 이번에 버그 수정이 되면서 그동안 문제 있던 것들이 수정 되었으며, 꾸준히 버그 패치가 될 예정임으로 개발자 분들은 오래된 버전보단 위 사이트를 방문해서 어떤 업데이트가 되었는지 확인이 필요해 보입니다.

자 이제 Android Android Design Support Library에 대해서 하나씩 설명을 해보도록 하겠습니다.

일단 라이브러리 사용법은 간단하가

SDK Manager에서 Android Support Library를 최신버전으로 업데이트 후

compile 'com.android.support:design:22.2.1'

끝이다. Android Support Library와 종속적임으로 꼭 업데이트 후에 사용을 합니다.
